Bangalore: Three people were arrested in Tamil Nadu for their alleged involvement in the April 17 bomb blast near BJP’s office in Bangalore.

According to initial reports, the two men identified as Peer Mohideen and Basheer were arrested on late Monday night while the third person was arrested on Tuesday morning. The trio will be produced in a court on Tuesday.

The three have been arrested reportedly for facilitating the attacks. Reports said, Bangalore police team conducted the operation to nab the people with assistance of Tamil Nadu Police.

The search is still on to look out for the accused who planted the bomb. The blast which took place outside the BJP office on April 17 left 16 people injured.

The third person was arrested from Madurai, they said, adding the trio facilitated the blast while the main culprits were still at large. Four men were recently detained in Kerala for their alleged involvement in the case.

The arrested are being taken to Bangalore for further investigation, sources said. The Karnataka government had announced a reward of Rs five lakh to those who provide information on the culprits responsible for the April 17 blast.
