As per the White House statement, the five member American delegation, led by Lisa Monaco, Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counter-Terrorism, would attend the ceremony on Sunday.     

Other members of the delegation include Kenneth Hackett, US Ambassador to the Holy See; Suzy George, Deputy Assistant to the President and Executive Secretary and Chief of Staff, National Security Council; Sister Donna J Markham OP, president and CEO, Catholic Charities USA and Carolyn Y Woo, president and CEO, Catholic Relief Services. Congressman Tim Huelskamp said the saintly work of Mother Teresa is inspirational.

"Mother Teresa demanded we give every child a chance to be born. Her saintly work is inspirational," he said in a tweet yesterday.
