New Delhi: The Union Home Ministry on Thursday said it has not received any request from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for a probe into the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing scandal by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

"We have not received any request from BCCI. Let us receive a request. The question is hypothetical," Home Secretary RK Singh said.

Indian pacer S Sreesanth, Ankit Chavan and Ajit Chandila, who played for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 6, were arrested in Mumbai by Delhi Police for their alleged involvement in spot-fixing scandal. Delhi Police have arrested 26 people in connection this connection.
