New Delhi, Jan 12 (Agencies): The Board of Cricket Control India (BCCI) and IPL top officials on Wednesday were summonsed by the Parliamentary standing committee on finance.

The officials will be questioned on the conduct of season 2 of the IPL in South Africa and also on tax related issues.

Sources within the BCCI have confirmed the meeting held between 11 and 11:30 am on Wednesday.

The BCCI top brass will also hold meeting later in the day.

BCCI's president Shashank Manohar and Secretary N Srinivasan are likely to attend the meeting which is scheduled later on Wednesday.

IPL CEO Sundar Raman, Ratnakar Shetty and MP Pandove were also summoned.
