New Delhi: In the wake of the recent exposure of misuse of facilities by Former IPS officer and Team Anna member, Kiran Bedi, the Ministry of Home Affairs is planning to review the privileges being provided to the Gallantry Awardees.

According to a senior official from the ministry, the government is planning to bring necessary changes in the facilities of the award holders in a bid to check their misuse.

Wary of similar misappropriation by other award holders, the official said that it is really necessary to limit the period for availing such privileges as probability of such instances is very high.

Kiran Bedi, 1972 batch IPS officer has plunged into a controversy with allegations of charging her hosts full air fare despite availing the 75 percent discount facility given to the Gallantry award holders by Air India.
