It is been anticipated that the movie is most likely to enter the 100 crore club. However, it would be too early to determine the box-office performance of the movie.

Releasing the movie on a National holiday, October 2, seems to have worked in favour of the young Kapoor. However, the film has not gone down well with the critics. According to them Ranbir’s attempt to tickle the funny bones of the audiences with his ‘besharm’ mannerisms in the movie, fell short of making the movie entertaining.

It is worth noting that Ranbir’s ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and ‘Barfi!’ had raked in Rs 19 crore and Rs 34 crore, respectively, on their day of release. Both these movies eventually made their way into the 100 crore club.
