"Better late than never," he quipped when asked about Bukhari approaching Congress president.
"All having secular ideology should get connected with Congress. Not just this, a big revolution could take place if Narendra Modi turns secular," Khurshid said on Thursday.
Replying to a question on Samajwadi Party's election manifesto released earlier this week, he said, "They could not implement the promises made in the manifesto for assembly elections, so speaking on the Lok Sabha poll manifesto would be of no use".
"These are the times of expressways where vehicles are running at a very high speed, under these circumstances, it would be a compulsion for bicycle (SP symbol) to make way", the Congress candidate from the seat added.
