New Delhi: A Delhi court on Tuesday sent former top CWG Organising Committee officials Lalit Bhanot and V K Verma to Tihar Jail under 14-day judicial custody, for striking a Rs 107 crore deal with a Swiss firm to provide various logistic supports for the Games.

The duo was remanded to judicial custody by Special Judge Talwant Singh on the CBI plea that the investigation into the case was still going on.

"Accused are been sent to judicial custody till March 15," said the judge, sending them to Tihar Jail.

The court also allowed both the accused to carry spectacles and medicines prescribed to them.

Bhanot, former Secretary-General of the OC, and Verma, ex-Director General of the OC, were arrested on February 23 by the CBI and were remanded in the CBI custody for five days on February 24 for interrogation of their role in the scam.
