Jaipur: Sacked Rajasthan minister Mahipal Maderna, arrested in Bhanwari Devi case on Wednesday sought 40 days parole from the CBI on ground of appearing in the state Assembly session starting February 27.
Meanwhile while hearing the plea of absconding accused in the case, Indra Bishnoi, the court directed the CBI to submit a detailed report over how many times she was summoned for interrogation and how many times she ignored the CBI's summons.
Indra Bishnoi, sister of co-accused Malkhan Singh Bishnoi, has filed two separate petitions protesting the issuance of arrest warrant against her and order of the attachment of her property by the CBI court.
Indra’s counsel, Manoj Garg, informed the court that her client was being framed and challenged the lower courts order of issuing warrant against her.
“My client had appeared before the CBI six times for interrogation. And just on the basis on these enquiries warrant were issued against her and her property were attached,” said the counsel.
While hearing the part of Indra Bishnoi, the court asked her to co-operate with the CBI proceedings into the case.
