Jaipur: In a recent development in the Bhanwari Devi murder case the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has decided to attach the property of Congress MLA Malkhan Singh’s sister Indira Bishnoi, who is an accused in the case and is absconding from last three months.

Giving out its last ultimatum, the CBI has asked Bishnoi to appear before the Court on Friday. Following her absence, sleuths investigating the murder will attach her property.

Meanwhile, on February 8, CBI served notice to former BJP leader Shambhu Singh Khetasar, currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Palanpur, Gujarat.  Replying to the notice, Khetsar has informed that he has suffered major injuries and fractures in a car accident.

Khetsar’s lawyer Dr Pushpendra Singh has clarified that his client has been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Palanpur and has been advised six months bed rest. If CBI wants to question Khetsar regarding the case, they can meet him in hospital.

The BJP leader has a stronghold in regional politics. In 2007, he stood against Mahipal Mederna in the election battle field but was defeated.
