Muzaffarnagar (UP): Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) has said it would start an indefinite dharna outside BJP office in Delhi from June 15 to protest the arrest of its national general secretary in BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh.

Rakesh Tikait, along with thousands of BKU activists from Uttar Pradesh, were arrested in Madhya Pradesh last month when they were protesting the land acquisition policy of the state government.

BKU national president Naresh Tikait told a rally in Sisoli on Sunday that they would stage an indefinite dharna outside BJP office in the national capital on June 15 to protest the arrest of Tikait and would pitch for his release.
