Congress State President Rita Bahuguna Joshi has held talks with the regional leaders to chalk out plans for organising Mahapanchayat. A committee of ministers, MPs, MLAs and senior leaders has also been constituted in this context.

According sources, permission would be sought from Bhatta Parsaul village Panchayat to hold the Mahapanchayat on July 11.
