Greater Noida: The Magistrate inquiry into the Bhatta Parsaul firing incident which took place on May 7 has been extended to June 17. Now victims can get their statement recorded before the probe panel on June 17.

District magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar Deepak Agarwal had ordered Additional District Magistrate Surindera Ram on May 23 to probe the incident and submit a report at the earliest. Earlier, villagers were supposed to record their statements on May 26, but nobody turned up.

Following this, the date was extended to June 3 but no one showed up even after extension of the date. Now the District Magistrate has extended the date to June 17. The villagers can get their statement recorded between 10 am to 4 pm.

This will be the last date for getting their statement recorded as beyond this date no statement will be recorded.
