"Can these days be termed as 'achhe din' when rates of diesel and sugar have been increased and the train journey has also become more costlier," Hooda told reporters on the margins of a party programme in Kaman Sarai in the district.

Saying the BJP does not have any policy for welfare of the poor, Hooda alleged that "they have planned to enhance the rates of LPG gas cylinder by Rs 10 every month but the decision will be implemented after three months when the Assembly elections in Haryana are over."

Replying to a question, Hooda said the Metro rail would be extended up to Manesar, for which a detailed project report was being prepared.

He said with the cooperation of a Japanese Company and Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation, Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation would complete the 108-km long Gurgaon-Manesar-Bawal project in next four years.

The project would cost about Rs 27,000 crore, he said, adding that Haryana government is thinking of taking loan at the rate of 0.5 percent from Japan for the project.

When asked regarding claims made by BJP leader Captain Abhimanyu that some Congress MLAs were in his contact and they can switch over sides any time, Hooda said these are frivolous talks and misinformation campaign launched by the BJP leaders.
