Advocate Kamini Jaiswal mentioned the matter before a division bench of Justice BD Ahmed and Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, and said the fundamental rights of the arrested people were violated by the police action. The bench posted the matter for 4 pm Yadav and others were detained by the Delhi Police this morning  from a protest site at Jantar Mantar here.

Bhushan filed a habeas corpus plea for the release of the detained people and to launch an inquiry against the police personnel who arrested him. The plea alleged that lawyers were not allowed to meet the detainees.
