Muzzafarpur:  The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched agitation against the beleaguered Central government, which is already facing heat of scams, corruption, inflation and black money issue.

In a nationwide stir, the BJP has planned to wage campaign against the Centre’s misgovernance in Bihar.

In its two-day BJP state executive meeting, the party leaders have decided to start nation-wide protest against the Central dispensation for its misrule from April 6, the foundation day of the BJP.

Party state president Dr CP Thakur along with former state party president Radhamohan Singh on Friday announced the list of activities scheduled for the campaign.

The BJP activists would organize divisional level meetings, create mass awareness; hold demonstrations, rallies, marches, and signature campaigns. National leaders would also participate in the campaign.

Flaying the Central and state government for overlooking the benefits of farmers in the proposal on agriculture, the BJP leaders demanded a separate budget for the agriculture.

“On the second day of the meeting, the proposal on agriculture was brought. The party believes that setting up of fruit based industrial units in the districts of North Bihar including Muzzafarpur, would facilitate for the development of the region,” said Radhamohan Singh.

He alleged that the Centre is not taking any interest for setting up such units in Bihar.
