"Yah to aap log bol rahe hai (The media is saying all this)," Kumar told reporters in reply to repeated questions on exit polls projection in Bihar.

“Let us wait for the results on May 16,” he added.

The exit polls are predicting around five out of 40 seats for JD (U) and between 20 to 25 seats for the BJP in Bihar.

Former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi refused to comment on the exit polls.

Congress state president Ashok Choudhary too disagreed with the projections.

"When the results will come out on May 16, the scene will be different and Congress-RJD will perform handsomely," he said.

The Pradesh Congress Committee chief said that his party benefited from the alliance with Lalu Prasad Yadav’s RJD.

"Had the alliance come a little before, the results would have been even more impressive for the UPA in Bihar," he added.
