New Delhi: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will felicitate 20 distinguished people with ‘Vishist Bihari’ honour on March 18 in New Delhi on the occasion of Bihar foundation Day. These people living in Delhi will be honoured for making the state proud with their remarkable achievements in various fields.

The programme will be held at Coronation Park at Burari near Delhi University.

“Bihar has produced many achievers in the field of education and culture. They have been serving the world and the nation, but we could not honour them. On the occasion of the hundred years of the foundation of the state, we will honour these people,” said Sanjay Jha, Coordinator and Bihar MLC.
Praising Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for the development of Bihar, Jha said that Kumar is now being seen as the ‘symbol of change’ and that’s the reason why Biharis living in Delhi are so excited about the programme.

The main celebration will be held between March 22 and 24 at Gandhi Maidan in Patna to mark the hundred years of the notification for the separate identity of Bihar in 1912.
