"All the seven union ministers from Bihar should help in the development, otherwise they would not be allowed to enter the state," he said at a function here.

The seven Union Ministers from the state are Ram Vilas Paswan, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Radha Mohan Singh, Giriraj Singh, Ram Kirpal Yadav and Upendra Kushwaha.

Besides, Manjhi said the central government should soon grant special category status to Bihar. "The Union Ministers from Bihar should put pressure on the central government for it," he said.

He accused the central government of not helping Bihar in constructing toilets.

"The Central government is not helping Bihar for construction of toilets, the state government has been doing it from its own funds," he said. Last week, Manjhi said he would become a "supporter" of Prime Minister Narendra Modi if he grants a special category status to Bihar. Manjhi said grant of special category status is necessary for Bihar's development.

"Our demand is directly related to the development of Bihar and its 10.5 crore people," he said.

"I appeal to all union ministers from Bihar to ensure allocation of funds for roads construction and thousands of houses for poorest of the poor under Indira Awas Yojna," Manjhi said.
