Patna:  Bihar Diwas was celebrated in full swing on its second day here as well as in the national capital. The event was marked by various programmes including musical feast, children’s acting skill, Air Show and Heritage car run.

Every nook and corner was bustling with the joyous mood of the day, and an ‘Air Show and Heritage car run’ organized for the first time on the occasion was a special attraction for people.
At the same time Constitution Club and the Purva Sanskritik Kendra in Delhi also witnessed the jubilation mood on Wednesday. A Bhojpuri film festival was inaugurated by the Purva Sanskritik Kendra which showed Bhojpuri blockbusters like Balam Pardesia and Dharti Maiya.

In a ceremony organized by the Bihar foundation in Mumbai, People from Bihar were honored with Bihar Foundation prize and non-Bihari people with Mitra Bihar prize for their marked contribution in various fields.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar flagged off the Bihar heritage car rally on Thursday. The participants will cover the distance from Patna to Delhi.

Chief Secretary of Human Resource Development Department, Anjani Kumar Singh said, “A thrilling show will be presented through helicopter on Monday. He also added that the show has been named as ‘Akashganga Para Jumping Air Show’.
