Ara: Nawada police under Bhojpur district has succeeded in apprehending a member of an inter-state gang involved in the robbery of four-wheelers.

The nabbed member of the gang was wanted by the police departments of the two states- Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

The Police Superintendent (SP) MR Naik said that Amit Rai, the leader of the gang who was nabbed by Bihar police, is a resident of Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh.

Amit was wanted in two cases of four-wheeler robbery by Bhojpur district police. SP MR Naik further added that Rai was wanted by UP police in many other cases of vehicle robbery. The accused is being subjected to interrogation by the police to elicit more information about vehicle robbery in the area and adjacent districts of UP.
