New Delhi: The Center on Wednesday told the Supreme Court that it has never arrested Fasih Mohmmad. The government is likely to discuss the whereabouts of Fasih with the Saudi ambassador.

In Saudi also, the Indian Ambassador is supposed to discuss the matter at length with their representative.

The Centre also informed the apex court that the Indian government has issued a Red Corner Notice (RCN) against Fasih.

After hearing the contentions of the central government, a division bench of the top court adjourned the matter for further hearing till Monday.

Fasih, a native of Bihar, was an engineer working for a private company in Saudi. He is reportedly to be missing since May 13.

Fasih’s wife has moved the Supreme Court pleading to the concerned authorities to find out her husband. She, in her plea had alleged that the Indian government is allegedly detained her husband.
