Patna: Bihar students once again have been successful in creating milestone in IIT-JEE exam results that was declared on Friday. Arpit Agarwal, a student of Faridabad's Modern Vidya Niketan School, reportedly topped IIT-JEE 2012 with a score of 385 out of 408.

What is striking about the results is that almost 800 students from the state were successful in IIT-JEE exams this year.

Jayram Singh from Patna managed a rank of 31 among the handicapped candidates while Setu Gupta from Saran got a ranking of 14 in this prestigious exam.

Another candidate Shakti Kumar from Patna was ranked 80 among the handicapped students. Interestingly, 51 out of 81 candidates of the institutions run by DGP Abhayanand were succesful in this exam.

Remarkably, most of the successful candidates belong to weaker sections of the society.

State Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as well as Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi have greeted the students of Bihar on their achievement.
