Patna: Students from Bihar have once again excelled in the prestigious Civil Services examination of 2011.Youths of the state have come out with flying colours in this coveted examination for which results were declared on Friday. Vikram Vardhan son of Kumar Amle stood on 111th position.

Avinash Kumar Singh from Mahuar village of Kaimur district remained on the 136 rank in the exam. Sunil Kumar Gautam, from Sasaram, stood on 211th position.

Taking everyone by surprise, Ashish, who is handicapped, also qualified for the exams. As claimed by his friends he has been a genius since his childhood.

Prabhakar Prakash Ranjan stood at 339th rank, while Ashish Kumar Verma of Patna ranked 726th in the exam.

Ashish Bharati hailing from Nalanda stood at 337 rank while Kundan Kumar from Jamalpur got 124th rank. Imtiyaz Aalam son of Kafir Ansari hailing from Bastwara village which falls in Darbhanga district was also ranked 649 in this prestigious exam.

Amit Kumar, son of Rampravesh Kushwaha of Lachnauta village, falling under Laukaria Panchayat of Raksaul sub-division has been a successful candidate in this exam.

Dr Kumar Aditya from Nathnagar area got 489th rank while Ankit Anand stood 520th in the ranking. Rajkishor of Laluchak from Bhagalpur district remained at 824th position.

A total of 910 candidates cleared the examination including 420 General, 55 OBC, 157 SC and 78 ST candidates. The Selected candidates would be considered for appointment in Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and Central Services, Group A and Group B.
