Patna: In order to tighten the noose around private nursing homes in Bihar, the state ruling dispensation has decided to implement Clinical Establishment Act soon. The government is mulling over making rules and regulations in this regard and has formed a council which would be presided by Chief Health Secretary.

The Clinical Establishment Bill was approved in the monsoon session of the assembly but got delayed in its implementation owing to it being in English version. Chief Health Secretary Amarjeet Sinha informed that the Hindi version of the Bill has been prepared for the easy understanding.

“Soon the act will come into existence in state. Under the law, private nursing homes after the registration will have to follow the parameters set by the government,” said Sinha.
