Bhopal: On the sixth day of the World Wild Life Week celebrations, Van Vihar National Park organized a birds watching camp on Thursday.

20 students from VNS College  and seven from other institutes participated in the event.

Those who attended the occasion were expert Prabhat Gupta, Somi Gupta and S Tiwari. They informed the students about the unique traits of birds in Van Vihar and their contribution in the eco-system.

Creative workshops for school children mainly from slum areas were also organized. The children participants were taught to prepare paper flowers.

Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav will distribute prizes to the winners during the closing ceremony of World Wildlife week on October 7.

Painting and fancy dress competitions will also be organized on the last day.
