“We are currently working to mitigate a DDoS attack. Some of our sites may be unavailable, but we're working to restore full functionality,” tweeted the official Twitter handle of Bitly.

The company informed its users about this attack on the day and assured its users that the services will be restored shortly as the firm is working hard to get the thing back to normal.

Though, not many details are available about this attack presently and it is still unclear that why all sections of the online service provider were under this malfunction.

All services were later resumed and the company confirmed the completion of restoration with a tweet. “Update: All links are working after mitigating an earlier DDOS attack. Some link metrics may still be delayed,” the company wrote.
