A meeting of the MPs hailing from three regions--Western, Kashi and Awadh-- has been convened under the stewardship of the newly appointed state in-charge Om Mathur. State BJP president Laxmikant Bajpai was also present during the meeting.

According to reports, the senior leaders emphasized on the issues which will help the saffron party and its MPs widen the party network for consolidating its vote bank.

The UP Members of Parliament were quizzed whether they have opened party offices in their constituencies for interacting with the masses. The senior leaders also asked them about adopting villages under
the 'Sansad gram Yojna'.

In a bid to stay Modi magic afloat for gaining political mileage in assembly election slated to be held in 2017,  the party MPs of all the three regions have been asked to popularize all the development schemes launched by the Prime Minister in their constituencies.

The MPs were cautioned to be judicious while having public discourses and they were suggested to voice their concerns only on party platform.
