New Delhi: Decks have been cleared for the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh’s home coming to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with senior party leaders favouring the move. The persons who play pivotal role in bringing Singh back to the parent party are his associates during his tenure as the CM of the state. Regarding this, several rounds of talks have already been held in the national capital.

BJP’s National President Nitin Gadkari is also in favour of Singh’s return to the party. If sources are to be believed, Sangh Parivaar is yet to give its nod in this regard.

After the election of the party organisation, plans are afoot to hold a big rally in Lucknow, where Singh might show his political clout. Singh had twice quit the BJP on difference with top brass. On both the occasions, he had floated his own political parties, but failed to garner much public support to play as role of a kingmaker in government formation.

In the 2012 UP Assembly elections, Singh had addressed over 100 rallies in support of his Jan Kranti Party candidates. Despite drawing huge crow in his rallies, Kalyan could not translate them into votes.
JKP’s candidates had dented the prospect of BJP nominees in the assembly polls. They proved to be party pooper for the BJP.

If sources are to be believed, Singh’s son Rajveer Singh alias Raju Bhaiyya could be made as the BJP secretary and RS MP. Singh, who had served as the CM thrice, is contemplating to launch his third generation in political turf.  His grandson (Rajveer’s son) may be fielded from the Etah assembly constituency.

Singh’s daughter-in-law, Premlata Verma has already tried her luck from Utroli seat. Keeping in view his poor health, the Etah MP don’t want to contest the next 2014 Lok Sabha election.
