Bhopal:  As the Jan Chetna Yatra of L K Advani started on Tuesday from Bihar, the state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has started preparing its strategy to make the anti-corruption march a success while it crosses through Madhya Pradesh.

The Jan Chetna Yatra would enter MP on October 13 and would travel in the state for next four days during which Advani would hold public meetings at nine places in the state including Satna , Rewa, Umariya, Shahpura, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Hoshangabad, Chindwara and Bhopal.

To make the Advani’s Yatra a success, state BJP chief Prabhat Jha held a meeting with party activists in Hoshangabad. Two state cabinet ministers Babulal Gaur and Umashankar Gupta were also asked to actively participate in preparations of the Yatra.

According to the sources, the biggest concern of the state BJP is about Advani’s public meeting in Bhopal as the party does not expect a huge turnout here.

Commenting on the public meetings in Bhopal, one senior BJP leader said, “That kind of enthusiasm is not perceptible in public as it was during the meetings of earlier campaigns of BJP.”
