Bhopal: Congress General Secretary BK Hariprasad on Thursday alleged that the Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh were involved in the coal block allocation scams.

Hariprasad, who was here to attend a three-day meeting of Madhya Pradesh Congress, claimed that there were a lot of irregularities in coal block allocations in these two (BJP-ruled) states.

"If CBI inquiry is held, they would find themselves in jail," the Congress leader said.

To a question, he said the Congress MLAs, in consultation with the high command, would decide about the Chief Minister if the party wins next year's Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh.
