Lucknow: The ousted Bahujan Samaj Party minister Babu Singh Kushwaha could not be incorporated into the Bharatiya Janata Party due to peer pressure but if a chief BJP strategist is to be believed,  he has emerged as a ‘trump card’ for the party. The sheer presence of the leader in poll rallies is pulling larger crowds than the BJP heavyweights.

Kushwaha is proving to be very effective in Bundelkhand, a region where the BJP has not done well. The large turnout of people in his rallies has given a fillip to BJP’s chances of winning half of the 19 seats in the region, said a party strategist.

BJP president Nitin Gadakari too believes that the Kushawaha factor is proving to be a big help for the party in the state.

During rallies, Kushwaha shares his grief with the people and tells them that BJP is the only party which can preserve the dignity of the society. He often connects with the masses emotionally. While addressing a rally in Ferozabad, Kushwaha almost broke down.

In order to give a befitting reply to the BSP, Khuswaha pledged all out support to make BJP victorious in the elections. While addressing a poll rally in Agra, Kushwaha accused the BJP of backstabbing and blamed it of destroying his house, school and hospital.
