New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday demanded that question hour be suspended in both houses to discuss the Hyderabad terror attack.

"We have asked for suspension of question hour and demanded discussion on the terror issue," BJP leader Prakash Javadekar told reporters outside parliament.

He said the country was united at this hour and party president Rajnath Singh had gone to Hyderabad to meet the victims.

"The government is failing in fight against terror and we will raise the matter in parliament," he said. Sixteen people were killed and more than 100 injured in the twin bomb blasts that rocked Hyderabad on Thursday evening.
