Jammu: BJP on Wednesday demanded a public debate on the report of the Jammu and Kashmir interlocutors after Union Home Minister P Chidambaram said the government will disclose the recommendations once it briefed the Cabinet Committee on Security.
"Chidambaram's statement about making the report public has vindicated our stand from the day one," BJP National Executive member and state chief spokesperson Jitendra Singh told reporters here on Wednesday.
The three-member interlocutors' team had submitted its report to the Centre in October last year.

Singh said right from the beginning his party demanded making the report public and holding free and frank debate on its contents.
