Hyderabad: Accusing the Andhra Pradesh government of pushing the state into administrative chaos, BJP on Monday urged Governor E S L Narasimhan to convene a special session of the state Assembly to discuss issues like Telangana and price rise.

"People in the state have been suffering from various problems like rise in prices of essential commodities and petroleum products, and agitation for separate Telangana has further added to their owes," BJP spokesperson NVSS Prabhakar told reporters here.

The people have voted Congress for forming pro-people policies and implementing welfare programmes but the Kiran Kumar Reddy government has failed to even convene the Monsoon session to discuss the welfare programmes, he said.

"There is total chaos in the state administration and ministers are involved in levelling charges against each other," Prabhakar said, appealing to Narasimhan to convene a special session of the Assembly.
