Greater Noida: The BJP workers staged protest at Jewar toll plaza on the Yamuna expressway and held up traffic for almost one and half hour on Wednesday.

Demanding the arrest of toll staffs, they refused to move until the administration promised for action against them.

BJP workers claimed that some toll plaza staff allegedly thrashed the BJP members on their way to attend a rally in Lucknow on 21st January.

After the incident, BJP leader Harish Thakur lodged a complaint against toll staffs with Jewar police station. The party members decided to protest under the leadership of Noida MLA Mahesh Sharma when no action was taken till Wednesday.
