Haridwar: The results of Uttarakhand election is just a few hours away and the BJP dispensation in the state has kept itself open for the coalition government. Chief Minister Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri and former CM separately held meeting with Sah-Sarkaryawah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Suresh Soni and signaled that the party command will take decision on this issue at right time.

Khanduri had deliberations with Soni on Monday, when he was in the city to attend a programme at Dev Sanskrit University. It is believed that both the leaders discussed about the election results and its post alliances with the major stake holding parties to retain power in the state. Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal also met Soni.

Addressing the media, Khanduri claimed that the BJP will emerge victorious with majority.  He said, “If in case the party does not get majority then other options are also open. Decisions on this issue will be taken by the senior leaders and party functionaries.”
