New Delhi: The BJP on Wednesday declared its third list of candidates for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. The third list comprises of 77 names.

The list includes former MLAs and MPs and focuses on the backward classes.

Meanwhile, the saffron party also released the names of remaining three candidates in Punjab and 12 candidates in Manipur.

After ex-BSP minister Kushwaha’s induction in the BJP, the party in its third list avoided declaring the candidates for those seats from where it could draw flak.

The list includes 14 former MLAs, 14 former MPs including 10 women, and 14 SC candidates.

Ashok Kansal (Muzaffarnagar), Jaipal Singh Gurjar (Kithore), Mahesh Sharma (Noida), Nawab Singh Nagar (Dadri), Chhatrapal Singh (Anupshahr), Mahapur Ashutosh (Aligarh), Sachidanand Hari Sakshi (Bhongaon), Rashmi Singh (Amethi), Dinesh Awasthi (Bithoor), Satyadev (Govind Nagar), Hanuman Mishra (Sisamau), Vivek Sheel Shukla (Kidwai Nagar), Raghunandan Bhadoria (Kanpur Central), Swatantradev Singh (Kalpi), Ravi Shukla (Jhansi), Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti (Hamirpur), Hari Pratap Singh (Pratapgarh), Jagdish Mishra (Kushinagar), Udhaybhan (Allahabad north).

Wife of former MP Navjot Singh Sidhu - Navjopt Kaur Sidhu (Amritsar), Tarun Chugh (Amritsar central) and Katkar Som Prakash (Phagwara).
