Dehradun: Expressing concern over the issue of female foeticide, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has pointed towards declining sex ratio. The party seeks an urgent need to initiate a joint effort on part of the Centre as well as the states to check the decline in sex ratio.

National spokesperson of the party, Tarun Vijay said, “The census showing the decline in sex ratio is a matter of grave concern.”

He said, “The government should make a provision to lodge a case of murder against doctors and parents involved in the foeticide.” He also urged the saint community to caution people against female foeticide terming it as a religious sin in their sermons.

Tarun Vijay, who lauded Indian cricket team for winning the world cup, said that the prayers of the people have been heard.

He also emphasised on the need to open a Sports University in each state so that the brilliant students get benefitted.

Criticizing the politicians, he said the nation needs leaders like Dhoni.

Speaking on corruption, he said politicians will have to take the initiative to curb it. Replying to a question he said that it is only BJP which has come to the fore against corruption.
