Jaipur: The main opposition in Rajasthan the Bharatiya Janata Party has demanded probe into the alleged violation of protocol rules by Senior Federal Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim during his recent Ajmer visit.

Alleging Fahim of violating the protocol rules, BJP’s Rajasthan unit chief Arun Chaturvedi demanded a judicial probe into the matter.

Fahim held a meeting in Ajmer with thousands of people including Congress legislator Sale Khan from border districts of Barmer and Jaisalmer without permission from the administration,

The BJP is preparing to hold agitation against the state government at Delhi.

Chaturvedi wrote a letter to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot demanding stern action against those responsible for the ‘intelligence failure’.

“It is a clear failure of intelligence, the Union Home Ministry and the state Home Department are responsible for it and state Home Minister Shanti Dhariwal must be removed from the Cabinet without any further delay,” Chaturvedi said.
