Led by Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhayay, the delegation met Jung and sought his intervention into the matter. Slamming Chief Ministar Arvind Kejriwal, Opposition Leader Vijender Gupta alleged that the AAP government had allocated 2200 percent more funds than the last year on information and publicity.

"Bypassing the Supreme Court's order, Kejriwal has been presented as demi-God in recent TV ads recalling his name 13 times. The present exorbitant allocation is to continue this practice,” he said in a statement.

"As compared to publicity fund (Rs 526 crore), Rs 338 crore has been earmarked for SC/ST/EWS welfare, Rs 350 crore for nutrition, Rs 208 crore for labour and employment, Rs 400 crore for development of slum areas," he said.
