Moreover, all the Union Ministers hailing from the state have been directed to highlights of achievements of Modi government during last one year tenure. The Bihar polls will be a referendum on Modi goverment's performance.

Meanwhile, the party is keenly watching the developments over Janata Parivar merger admitting that Janata Dal (United)-Rashtriya Janata Dal alliance may make the battle 'very tough' for it.

Interestingly, their combined strength and estimated vote share of around 42 percent may put hurdles in its mission to  to dislodge Nitish Kumar government.

Former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and suspended RJD MP Pappu Yadav will also play crucial role in the Bihar politics. Manjhi enjoys huge support among Mahadalits, once considered as core vote bank of Nitish Kumar, while Pappu Yadav wields influence in Seemanchal region.

Showering praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's development model, Pappu Yadav hinted that he is not averse to make alliance with the BJP in the state.
