Hajipur (Vaishali): In a bid to boost Dalit vote bank in Bihar, the Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to organise a feast in every colony dominated by Dalits in all the state Assembly constituencies.

On the second day of the three-day State Working Committee cum training camp at Vaishali on Sunday, a concrete strategy was made to change the face of Bihar.

Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi emphasised on the need of benefits to reach every person in the state and called the party workers to work as facilitators between the public and the government.

The party pledged to win the trust of the most deprived Dalits and join them to the mainstream of society. In this regard, the party declared to organise a feast from September 2 to October 2 in Dalit majority colonies of all the Assembly constituencies.

According to the strategy, the party workers will visit village on October 11 with a portrait of Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan and raise voice to uproot corruption through an anti-corruption march.

Later, a ‘Dalit–Mahadalit’ conference will be organised at the Assembly level under the aegis of the party’s Scheduled Caste Morcha from November 21 to December 25.

Thereafter, the party will hold meetings in districts from October 13 to October 23 and from November 10 to November 20.The party has also decided  to convene the extremely backward caste conference from December 20 to January 25.
