New Delhi: Demanding removal of Sheila Dikshit as Delhi Chief Minister for her alleged involvement in Commonwealth Games scam, the BJP will start 21-day-long signature campaign across the national capital.

The BJP has been baying for Sheila’s head after her indictment by Shunglu Committee and the report of Comptroller Auditor General (CAG).

The BJP state president, Vijendra Gupta informed that the signature campaign will start from Tuesday, near GTB Metro station from 10 am.

It will also be conducted near Jahangir Puri metro station, Rajouri Garden metro, Select City Mall Saket, Keshavpuram district office, Rajnagar, Peetampura, Bara Tuti Chauk and Uttam Nagar Terminal.

Gupta alleged: “The Central government and Union Home Ministry are intentionally trying to save CM Sheila Dikshit and her corrupt subordinates. In such a situation it only conveys one message that law is only made for the poor.”

He warned that BJP will not take a sigh of relief until Sheila and her corrupt officials are sent behind bars.

To strengthen the campaign, BJP workers will visit more than 20 lakhs houses in the capital and will apprise locals about the corrupt activities of the ruling dispensation.

Along with this, the opposition workers will take the name, address, mobile and telephone numbers and signature from all the households they will visit.

Once the drive is completed, the party will submit the signature draft to the President seeking her interference in the matter.
