Amritsar: Terming the UPA government a failure on all fronts, Bharatiya Janata Party general secretary and chief spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said the party will grill the Centre in the monsoon session of Parliament on issues of corruption, terrorism and inflation.

Talking to reporters on the sideline of a seminar on terrorism, corruption and blackmoney, Prasad said the BJP was in favour of an effective Lokpal mechanism which should include Prime Minister under its ambit.

He alleged the Centre of demoralizing the security forces and agencies in the country. According to the BJP stalwart, India should not hold any deliberations with Pakistan till the time the neighbouring country does not take stringent measures to curb terrorism.

On the inflation, Prasad said, “The economist Prime Minister has failed to check the skyrocketing price hike. The Reserve Bank of India has revised the Repo Rate twice within a span of six months, which would lead to higher inflation,”

On the issue of BJP-SAD alliance in Punjab, BJP leader said “We fought several Assembly and Parliamentary elections together. Both the parties have jointly raised their voice against the alleged dictatorial attitude of the Congress in the state.”
