The Opposition also demanded the passage of Lokpal Bill.

The BJP conveyed its views at an all-party meeting convened by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath here on Monday.

Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde and Finance Minister P Chidambaram were also present at the meeting.

The BJP leaders present at the meeting included Lal Krishna Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Ravi Shankar Prasad.

"We demanded that Telangana and Lokpal Bill should be brought by the Government and passed in this session," Sushma Swaraj said.

The Centre is planning to bring a bill for bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and creation of a separate state Telangana.

Swaraj said the BJP also demanded a discussion on internal security with special focus on the serial blasts that took place before Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Patna on October 27.

"We also asked for debate on atrocities against women and functioning of JPC on 2G spectrum," she added.

Swaraj, who is the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, further said the BJP also wants discussion on price rise and slowdown of the Indian economy.

The Winter Session of Parliament will begin from December 5.
