Bhopal: Annoyed over the alleged thrashing of party members by Congress workers in Gwalior, the state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has warned the political rivals of severe consequences.

In the sudden press conference organized in Bhopal, state Minister Rameshwar Mishra said, “Congress legislator Pradun Singh Tomar was cordially invited and with his name mentioned on the card but in spite of that, the Congress workers created a ruckus in which more than 18 BJP workers were hurt while six were seriously injured.”

Sharma added, an FIR has been filed against the Congress members.

He said, “There are peaceful techniques of expressing dissatisfaction in a democracy but Congress does not believe in such methods.”
