Etawah: Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, Rajnath Singh has claimed that his party would form the next government in the state.

Talking to reporters here, Rajnath said “The situation in the state and the response of people are in favour of the BJP.”

“The graph of the party is positively increasing,” he added.

Asked about the name of the leader under whom the party would fight the upcoming Assembly election, he said the central leadership would soon announce the name.

“The people of the state have understood the strategy of BSP and SP.  They are felt betrayed as both the parties are supporting the Central government even after inflation,” Rajnath said.

Targeting the Central government Singh said that the UPA has failed on all counts including internal security and international diplomacy.

Raising issues like inflation, increased petrol prices and increased interest rates, Singh stated bad economic planning, corruption and rising prices as the three main reasons behind it.
