"The 10-month-long coalition rule of BJP with PDP was a golden period when 67 corrupt officials were shown the door, healthy work culture was introduced, lands for IIT, AIIMS were identified, IIM, IIMC and IHM were sanctioned for Jammu, Food Safety Act extended to J&K", he claimed.

Besides, thousands of kanals of illegally occupied government land was retrieved, work on beautification and development of river Tawi on Sabarmati pattern was initiated, amnesty scheme for electricity consumers were introduced, the former deputy chief minister of the state said.

Education, health and tourism sectors were prioritised. While doing this there was no compromise on the interests of Jammu and the future will see the region as a hub of high quality education on the pattern of Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Singh said.
