"Congress and TMC created a scene. To oppose it we also stood on our feet. The sad thing is when the NDA government's minister has apologised, then raising the same issue again for the second day, we condemn it," BJP MP Poonam Mahajan said.

Mahajan, who was accompanied by a group of women MPs of her party, said that members wanted to raise issues related to development of their constituencies but the opposition was not allowing proceedings in the Question Hour or Zero Hour by disrupting Parliament.

She claimed that the opposition parties like Congress and TMC just wanted to create a scene before the Prime Minister. "They don't have issues and they don't have a leader. That is why they have done it," Mahajan said.

Controversial remarks by Jyoti had rocked Parliament on Tuesday also with opposition parties insisting on her sacking despite her apology.

Under all round attack from opposition benches, Jyoti had said in Rajya Sabha on Tuesday that "If certain words spoken by me outside the House have hurt someone, I take back my words and offer regrets. However, if the House feels so, I am also ready to seek an apology."

In Lok Sabha on Tuesday, also she said, "My intention was not to hurt anyone. If my speech outside the House has hurt anyone, I express my deep regrets and accept..." However both Houses saw adjournments on Wednesday as well over her controversial remarks.
